About Us
We help organizations renew the promise of their technology platforms.
Remember when you first dreamed about what a truly great Salesforce CRM could do for you? Or how effective your website could be for pulling people in quickly and offering them pathways to meaningful engagement? When you allowed yourself to envision how transformative it could be to have truly excellent technology powering everything you do?
It probably hasn’t turned out that way, yet. But don’t give up on those dreams. Technology is complex but it’s far from impossible. You just have to go about it differently than the norm if you want different results.
Because great technology isn’t just about the technical. Not by a long shot. It starts and ends with people, and everything else follows from there.
We’re the turnaround specialists who will get you there.

Our Story
The Build Tank was founded by Sam Dorman and Chris Zezza. Each with decades of prior experience stewarding technology for a variety of organizations, the two first collaborated around the ground-breaking work that the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) did in the early years of Salesforce. Using lessons from that and decades of prior work, Sam and Chris began compiling and sharing insights about a radically ‘human-centered’ model for how to actually get transformative value out of an organization’s technology. Over time, The Build Tank became well known for its insightful thought leadership, its forward-thinking model for highly effective, human-centered technology, and its track record of helping organizations harness technology as a key lever of transformation.
